This beautiful home became a celebration of various homes the wonderful owners had seen, designed by Reza. So the brief was to interpret all those elements in a way that told the story of a beautiful sophisticated couple who are busy through travel and when home, want the ability to kick back and relax.

Having a love of tropical and resort style architecture was the inspiration of this home with its warmer tones, timber elements and split pitched roof, but still maintaining an Australian vernacular. Set off against an incredible deciduous maple, the brief was always to maintain the tree under all circumstances, so the house was designed to complement and befriend the tree, which actually is the hero of this design and remains the most perfectly designed element on this block.

Internally the home is befitting of a stylish yet relaxed couple and a pool that wraps around a pavilion element sets the scene for evening cocktails in summer, along with pool parties. The master bedroom is likened to an oversized villa suite in a top-class resort in the Bahamas and becomes a beautiful sanctuary with large windows overlooking heavily landscaped courts with large exotic-species plants.

This home will remain timeless for many, many years to come and still sits as one of the beautiful homes on the street in this leafy western Perth suburbs.
