In the Hollywood Regency style, this home is a contemporary interpretation on the Georgian style. Starting its life in the early 2000’s in America, it oozes style through its beautiful sense of proportion and symmetry. The mixed palate of white offsets the spray of a textured Georgian faced brickwork. The use of either black or white window frames are usually the colour palette used here and the window detailing can be either heavily ornamented or stripped back. This home used a more paired back ornamentation of mouldings to the front façade as it didn’t detract from the strong face brick statement.

However, like many international homes of this style, there is a strong sense of Renaissance proportion and symmetry. The higher pitched roof also ties in with the beautiful proportion of this home. Some have likened its aesthetic to one that sits on a large country property and if that is the case, it is recommended to extend the porch to a porte-cochère to allow a single car to park underneath.

Internally the home has a beautiful flow that is logical. Continuing with the moulded fenestrations internally, there is the use of wainscoting to add a next level of dimension to the walls and give them a sense of balance. A large voided area in the foyer adds a double height to the dynamic of the space. The Hollywood Regency style is a style REZIDENCE delivers fluidly as we completely understand the theories that sit behind this style.
